Antwerp Smerle Pigeon for sale

The Antwerp Smerle is a breed from Belgium. They are the largest of the owl pigeons. The have a robust body that they hold in a more horizontal position. The jabot, the cascading feathers down the front of the breast, is large. Antwerp Smerle do not have feathers on the legs. They have a strong and wide beak, dark brown eyes and a broad forehead.

The owl breeds of pigeons are known to be a calm show pigeon that enjoys human interaction. They are friendly and easy to breed which would make them a great starter pigeon for someone or just as a pet pigeon. These are classified as a fancy breed.
